Instead she was saying "spit on me".<BR/><BR/>Another gal in a similar situation, fell onto a man's lap as the bus jostled her. Instead of saying "excuse me" she used the other form of apology that more literally means "with your permission". Yep, Spanish can sure get you in trouble.
