Just a few pictures
I'm very busy packing today, so I thought I'd just quickly share a few pictures Allen picked up recently. I would not characterize these as the poorest homes . . . out in the mountains these would be fairly average living conditions.
Hello Trish! Praying that you will settle in your nest soon! We have so much to be grateful for!! So many people around the world have to work so hard just to get the basics--food, clothing, shelter, medical care--for their families. I was touched by the love that the Honduran parents had for their children when we were there in July.
Hey Pam - that's a homemade stove. It's made of clay, with a small sheet of metal to set pots on, and heated with a wood fire. I see so many of these, I guess I forgot that before coming here I had never seen such a thing!
Thank you for sharing the pics, hoping that you guys find a home soon. Good bless u each one of you

OK -- ignorance showing here -- but I've looked at that first picture several times and still can't figure out what it is. Can you fill me in??
