For about a week in January, the festival of San Sebastian is held in a park near our house. The San Sebastian church is opened up specially for the occasion (this very old church is not used regularly for services), and there are games, food, music, and vendors.

The San Sebastian festival looks like so much fun! It reminds me a bit of the summer "homecomings" that I used to attend at my grandmother's rural North Carolina church when I was a child. That was my earliest memory of the community of believers and it was very good.
