Sowers4Pastors - Empowering Honduran Missionaries and Pastors
When cooking spaghetti Honduran style, how do you judge when the spaghetti noodles are done?
Throwing it at the wall?
Throw it on the floor and if the chicken eats it, its ready, lol. Guess who thought of this?
When you throw it at the wall and it sticks?
when it floats in the water, lol. idk....
Yes, it's the "throwing it at the wall" method. I'd never heard of it, but apparently it's more widespread than just Honduras! Thanks for guessing!
I've heard that all my life, even in Georgia. Sure makes for a messy wall, though. ;-D
I think that there are still marks on my mom's ceiling from when my sister and I tried the "throw it at the ceiling" method. We knew that it was done, but we didn't know how to get it down, LOL.
Okay we always threw it at the refrigerator and only one strand at a time, not the whole pot!!! This is too funny!
