Allen's Day of Rest

On Saturday, very late, Allen returned from a long stay in the states. He was supposed to fly out from Virginia on an early flight Saturday morning, but the flight was two hours behind schedule, which meant that he would miss his connecting flight to Honduras. He managed to get onto different flights, but in the course of all this, he spent many more hours than usual in his travel home.

Sunday was the day he was going to rest up from his trip. In addition to watching some shows from the first season of The Cosby Show, and taking a nap, he:

• visited with a pastor seeking help with church construction
  
  
• sold several Bibles
  
  
• talked to another pastor seeking help with funding a school
  
  
• gave out a pickup truck load of used clothing
  
  
• arranged to get food to a feeding center
  
  
• distributed a refurbished computer to a pastor

Good thing he took the day off, don't you think?
