Here it is . . . now what is it?

Can you guess? If you already know, because of some connection to Honduras, give a few others a chance to guess, before you "spill the beans," okay?

Anybody can see that's a courting bench!! She sits on one side, he sits on the other, and they can't get too close.

It looks like a very uncomfortable set of chairs/sofa that I saw in a doctor's office many years ago -- and the color isn't too far off, either!! Yuck!

It's the "S" key from an ancient Mayan giant typewriter, right?

(Ok I know what it iis, but won't give it away yet...)

Someone needs to spill the beans because I'm curious to know what this is.

It's a fogón (an adobe stove/grill)

Thanks Aaron . . . I actually didn't know the name for it, I only knew what it was used for.

For those of you who haven't seen one of these before, a fire would be built inside the curves of the "S," and a large sheet of metal laid on top.

This stove was set up for temporary use, outside a Catholic church, as they were getting ready to hold a festival. If it hadn't been new, it would have been sooty, and that would have made the purpose much more obvious!
