We spent the morning celebrating Lempira Day today. It's always such a fun day here in the department of Lempira. I have so many photos to go through, to find the best ones to share here, but I thought I'd go ahead and post a few now, since it will take me some time to get through them all. Enjoy!

I always look forward in anticipation of your blog post on Lempira Day. No exception this year. My anticipation yielded satisfaction.
Great photos! At first glance I thought the one costume was an elephant which I thought an odd choice for someone from Gracias. Then I realized it was an armadillo!! We have those here in Florida and I always smile when I see one shuffling through the woods. They seem to have a one track mind in that they are always digging for worms and bugs.
